  • By purchasing from shop.american-biltrite.com you agree that you have read, understood and agreed to all product descriptions and shipping policies.
  • Flooring is sold by product name and particular SKU number. Variations in color between tiles, planks or rolls are common and are part of the nature of the product.
  • The flooring bought on shop.american-biltrite.com does not come with any warranty.
  • All pricing is subject to change without notice. Prices can only be locked in at the time of purchase. Although we guarantee prices shown at the time an order is placed, we cannot rebate or honor any possible future lower prices shown days, weeks or months later after an order has been placed.
  • Upon purchase, the flooring is deemed accepted by the consumer.
  • Due to the particular requirement of each type of flooring products we offer, it is imperative that you download and follow the installation and maintenance procedures when installing your flooring. Samples

Shop.american-biltrite.com samples are for the sole purpose of helping our customers make an informed decision about the flooring product they are purchasing. Samples are not intended to be used as parts for repairs or any other purpose other than to assist in deciding if the flooring is appropriate for your project. The fee shop.american-biltrite.com charges for these samples are to help cover the shipping and handling costs of the sample. Upon purchasing your flooring from shop.american-biltrite.com, the fee for the sample of the product you are PURCHASING will be reimbursed if it is requested when placing your flooring order. Although samples are an actual cut of the flooring product, variations between the sample and your actual flooring may occur.

Shipping Processes, Policies and Times

Shop.american-biltrite.com is not a freight company. Although we ship material on a daily basis to both continental United States and Canada, our core business is flooring. Shipping is always managed by a third party and is between the carrier and the customer. Upon order, we will offer you different shipping methods or you can request a pick up. The information will be supplied by our Customer Service department once the flooring is chosen and quantity and weight have been determined.

Our shipping times vary by products and quantities ordered. Our mission is to get you your new flooring as fast as possible, but we cannot guarantee that there will not be delays above and beyond our control.

Freight companies have certain terms and conditions, which we all have to abide by. Someone MUST be there to accept the delivery and it is your responsibility to bring the flooring into your home. Freight company drivers will only cut the band strips that hold the cartons to the pallet and hand you down the cartons from the back of the truck. Any additional services i.e.: lift-gate and inside delivery is the sole financial responsibility of the customer. Shop.american-biltrite.com will not be responsible for any additional fees incurred as a result of customer add-ons. All re-consignment, re-delivery fees or any other fees which may result of falsifying statements regarding delivery location will be the responsibility of the customer. Whoever accepts the delivery MUST check the outside of the cartons for proper quantity and correct item numbers before signing for the order. Product Condition, Sale, and Return Considerations

  • Customer, or the person accepting the product on the customer's behalf, must inspect the flooring product when delivered for any visible damages, correct SKU# and quantity.
  • Once the customer or its agent signs the bill of lading, the customer takes full possession of the product and fully accepts the order. Problems with the order MUST be noted on the bill of lading.
  • Sales are subject to seller terms and conditions listed on this website and affiliate websites.
  • All orders for goods are subject to authorization and final approval by our finance department.
  • We will not honor ANY complaints before and after the product has been cut or installed.
  • Sales made on shop.american-biltrite.com are final. Therefore, no returns will be accepted.
  • If we ship the wrong product, you MUST immediately contact us and obtain a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) to return the product in its original packaging. We will reimburse your purchase including returned freight charges.

Accepted Methods of Payment

Flooring and shipping costs are to be paid prior to us processing your order. The payment will need to be made with a Visa or Master Card credit card.

Flooring Warranty Policies

Our flooring is sold without a warranty. Moreover, we DO NOT cover damage to the flooring caused by abnormal environmental issues, i.e. subfloor abnormalities such as higher or lower than normal moisture conditions, peaking and doming, improper installation or indentation damage, scratching or any damage caused by items being dropped, rolled or dragged on the flooring. We do not cover color changes or fading within the flooring caused by direct sunlight. Differences in color between tiles, planks or rolls are common and are part of the nature of the flooring. Any flooring that has been installed is deemed accepted by the consumer.

Order Placement and Confirmation Process, Cancellation and Returns Policy

We will first require an order acceptance email from you. You will need to contact one of our customer service agents during our normal business hours (8:00 to 17:00 EST) and provide your Visa or Master Card credit card number, including the 3-digit card verification number located on the back of your credit card. The customer service agent will then go on Moneris®, a secured siteon Internet to use a virtual terminal application. She will then enter your order number, credit card number (including the 3-digit card verification number), as well as the amount to pay. Your credit card will automatically be debited. You will receive an email from Moneris’® system advising you that the transaction has been processed on your credit card.

All orders placed verbally over the telephone with a Customer Service Representative are immediately processed with Visa or MasterCard. You will be emailed an invoice for your records; no signature is required for legal obligation. As per our Terms and Policies, all orders are placed at our warehouse within 24 hours of order confirmation.

Once an order has been placed over the phone with a Customer Service Representative, the majority of our orders are shipped within 48 hours. Remember, once you give a customer service representative your shipping information as well as your credit card information you are legally responsible for all charges as this constitutes an order via telephone and is a verbal contract. Shop.american-biltrite.com disclaims all warranties, expressed and implied; to this end all products are sold as-is. The description on your invoice will match the product we send. Any promises made or descriptions contrary to what is listed on your invoice are void, null, and invalid. Please read your invoice carefully. If there are errors in your invoice, it is up to you, the customer, to contact us immediately. If you discover an error on your invoice after your order has been processed, you may be liable for cancellation fees or additional costs that we incur to correct your order.

Shop.american-biltrite.com is a closeout website. Therefore, we will not accept any cancellation, returns or claims.

When an order is placed, it will be shipped FOB shipping point to an address designated by the customer as long as that shipping address is compliant with the following shipping restrictions: Canada and continental United States. All orders from shop.american-biltrite.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. You are responsible for filing any claims with carriers for damaged and/or lost shipments.
